Officer, Legal & Compliance - Mayfair Pacific Financial Group Limited

Mayfair Pacific Financial Group Limited is duly licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) to conduct Types 1, 2, 4, 5 & 9 regulated activities in Hong Kong.

In the light of business expansion, we would like to invite high calibre individuals to apply for the following position:






Job Duties
  • Attend or assist in attending to legal & compliance issues;
  • Prepare and/or vet legal documentation including but not limited to offering memorandum of collective investment schemes, investment management agreement, distribution agreement, etc.;
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc compliance review and monitoring;
  • Perform compliance investigations, reporting and follow-up;
  • Conduct due diligence reviews;
  • Draw up and/or update procedure manuals;
  • Review marketing materials,
  • Attend to or liaise with regulators, including the SFC and the Hong Kong Exchange & Clearing Ltd. (the “HKEx”) on licensing matters and on-going obligations;
  • Deliver or assist in delivering compliance training; and
  • Lead or participate in projects as required from time to time.

Requirements
  • Holder of degree in Law, Accounting and/or Finance;
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese, both verbally and in writing;
  • Legal and compliance experience of minimum 2-3 years in an asset management company, brokerage house, investment bank or private bank;
  • Previous exposure to investment operation in relation to local and offshore securities and futures contracts;
  • Conversant with the Securities & Futures Ordinance and its subsidiary legislation, Companies Ordinance, Listing Rules as well as codes, rules, guidelines and regulations issued by the SFC, the Stock Exchange, the Futures Exchange, and clearing houses in Hong Kong as well as regulatory authorities in popular jurisdictions; and
  • Analytical, meticulous about details, and able to work independently.
