Responsibilities
- Daily and monthly reporting of economic results
- Explanation of the PNL – income attribution
- Comments on results, analysis of disputes and discrepancies
- Analysis on the differences between economic and accounting results
- Preparation of other reports for internal counterparts, authorities, auditors etc.
- New products and participation in projects, as and when requested by management
- Producing independently and certifying the economic PNL on a daily basis
- Providing analysis and explanation of the PNL, in interaction with Risk department
- Understanding Front Office strategies, products and PNL drivers
- Certifying the accounting PNL through analysis of the difference between economic and accounting PNL
Requirements
- Degree in mathematics, IT or finance & banking
- Minimum 3 year experience in product control, middle office, or risk department
- Knowledge of financial products and financial mathematics
- Knowledge of investment banking products
- Understanding of accounting principles is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access), VBA, SQL appreciated
- Analytical skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
