Skills:
A financial analyst with at least 5 years of research experience with the following specific experience and expertise; strong analytical skills in econometric and/or financial market analysis, prior experience in using proprietary third-party data sources (e.g. Cap IQ, Thomson OneBank, Bloomberg, etc.), excellent software application and IT skills in doing the following; statistical analysis (using EXCEL, SPSS, or other), databases and database queries Excel programming) self-starter with an ability to work independently in doing analysis and completion of research tasks
Requirements:
- Business degree in Economics
- MBA highly preferred
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Search web for relevant sources of information to acquire data necessary to prepare research reports (ad hoc) and populate spreadsheets and databases for ongoing economic analysis (trackers).
- Synthesize market data and financial information and draw insights to create PowerPoint based research reports.
- Participate in weekly conference calls with client analysts in London and Germany.
