COMPLIANCE OFFICER
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the business operations comply with laws and regulations and also to provide business support on complex regulatory and legal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational support duties of the Compliance & Control Services department
- Assist Senior Manager, Compliance & Control Services in conducting investigations for payment fraud and chargeback to safeguard Company's interests.
- Assists in originating, implementing, and maintaining the Company's compliance programs to ensure conformity and adherence with all applicable standards, laws and regulations.
- Help in coordination and support of compliance audits and examinations.
- Review company's policies and procedures and recommend controls to enhance/improve controls environment.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, in any field.
- Required language(s): English and Mandarin
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City, Philippines.
- With sound communication and interpersonal skills; and good attention to details.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Banking/Financial Services/E-Commerce or equivalent.
- Background in Anti Money Laundering is an advantage.
- Audit Backgrounds preferred
INTERNAL AUDIT EXECUTIVE
You will be part of the Compliance and Control Services team responsible for the overall conduct of risk-based internal audits for the various business units within a group of companies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible in the overall planning and management of risk-based internal audits within a group of companies. This includes, amongst others, establishing risk-based audit programs, identifying audit scope, planning, execution, wrap-up and reporting of the audits as well as ensuring the proper implementation of recommendations.
- Ensure timely execution of the audits in accordance with the audit plan, as well as assisting with other audit matters and projects.
- Ensure audits are conducted in a manner consistent with departmental and Company Policies, and International Internal Audit Standards; as well as completion within the timeline.
- Evaluates adequacy and suitability of internal control design and operating effectiveness of key controls in compliance with regulatory principles, industry standards and corporate guidelines.
- Review internal policies and procedures, appraising and ensuring that the business process controls are working effectively.
- Provide recommendations to management to improve internal controls and minimize business process risks; streamlining operations processes.
- Support other ad hoc projects, as and when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or its equivalent would be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Internal/External Auditing with at least 1 year at supervisory level, preferably with major accounting/audit companies (Big 4 is a plus).
- Proficient in principles and practices of accounting/auditing; knowledge of International Internal Auditing Standards.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Good written/verbal communication (Mandarin and English) and report writing skills.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
- High level of integrity, drive and sense of urgency; able to meet deadlines.
- Must be a team-oriented individual and has the ability to work independently in a multi cultural environment
- Possess strong task management, attention to details and prioritization skills
- Ability to follow-through on all assigned tasks
- Experience in e-commerce industry preferred
