JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the investment accounting and reporting functions of Singapore and Brunei branch to Head Office and Regulatory Bodies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- In charge of monthly investment closing
- Perform account reconciliation and to clear any outstanding reconciling items
- Ensure timely submission and filing of Quarterly & Annual MAS returns
- Prepare timely and accurate reporting to Group Office
- To keep abreast of changes in local regulations and accounting standards and to assess impact to financial, regulatory and management reporting
- Participate in Project implementation for User Acceptance Test
- Handle any queries from Group Finance, MAS and external auditors.
JOB RECRUITMENT
- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA/CPA preferred
- At least 4 to 6 years' experience (Financial / Banking OR Life insurance preferred)
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
- Proficient MS Excel, Word and Access
- Numerate, meticulous, able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Analytical, creative in problem solving and decision making
- Possess strong leadership skills & responsibility
- Singaporean OR PRs only
