Our client is a global market leader and international player in the electronics industry with marked global presence and high growth in Asia. They are looking to appoint a commercially astute Site Financial Controller to provide leadership and coordination at their Jiangsu factory in China.
You will play a pivotal role in proactively improving the existing processes and controls while providing a complete oversight of the Plant’s finances.
Job Scope
Leading a team of accountants and finance staff, your key accountabilities will include:
- end to end financial responsibility over accounting (GL, AP, AR, FA, Payroll, Cost Allocation and Intercompany billing, reconciliations and reimbursements)
- monthly financial reporting to AP regional office and Paris corporate office
- forecasting & budgeting, internal & external audit and maintenance of standard costing system
- You will be the key mentor for the team and will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly closing and management reporting.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess:
- At least 5-8 years experience in a senior-level finance/accounting position with a recognized accounting or finance degree from a reputable university
- Public accounting experience in one of the Big Four accounting firms or a CPA license will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with MFG/Pro and HFM system is essential
- You should demonstrate professional written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal skills, strong supervisory and analytical skills to take on this leadership and management role.
- Familiar with Chinese culture
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin is a must, but other dialects would be a bonus)
